memories.

my birthday is tomorrow, and every time around this year i always think about my past year, what i'm thankful for and how grateful i am for everything in my life. so i've decided to post my top FIVE favorite things that have happened since my last birthday.

1. the relationship i have with my boyfriend, bryce. we met at the pool 2 weeks before school started and instantly connected.

2. thankful that bryce saw a picture of pate that i texted her one random morning in october {my teacher had rescued her at just 4 weeks old!} and he told me he wanted her. so he adopted her then, and while she started out HIS dog... she is now both of ours :) i love her so much, and miss her little baby stage, but she's the best 7 month old puppy around!

3. being able to live with one of my best friends, tucci for a semester. she and i have a special kinship i have never had with any other friend. she understands me more than i understand me.

4. being able to live with one of my OTHER best friends, haley, for the whole year. she is such a wonderful support system, and once tucci left, we got a new roommate, chelsea and it has been fabulous!

5. getting an internship with FOX architects in washington d.c. for the summer. cannot wait because i love the office, i love their work, i love their designers and i LOVE that i will be in d.c. for the entire three months.

below are a few pictures of my year. xoxo. can't believe i'm going to be {23}.

wishing i was in italy....

a few of my close friends are on a wonderful journey to italy, and i couldn't be more jealous. i spent a summer in florence with one of my best friends 2 summers ago and had the best time of my life. we lived in a beautiful apartment (4 stories up...) 2 steps from the duomo, took wine appreciation class, traveled every weekend and enjoyed the culture as much as we could. hearing about how excited (and fearful) my friends are right now reminds me of my trip overseas, and how much i miss it. i am SO appreciative that i was able to take that trip, because i will never, ever forget it. below are a few of my favorite pictures from italy. oh, and addy... when are we backpacking?

view from my apartment door. jealy??

we lost a few items of clothing that summer...

cinque terre - gorgeous 8 mile hike.

i loved the wire people.

bike tour... with wine, of course.

best part of the trip? my mom and addy's mom joined us for a week after our classes were over and we traveled throughout italy.
