fill in the blank friday.

fill in the blank friday!
{even though i'm doing it on thursday}

1.   My favorite daily responsibility is, taking care of my pup.

2.  My least favorite daily responsibility is, unloading the dishwasher. UGH - worst.possible.thing. and taking the trash out.....

3.  My favorite cuisine to eat when going out is STEAK! {that is, if someone else is paying :)}

4.  My favorite cuisine to prepare at home is italian. yummm.

5.  Andy Warhol said that everyone is famous for 15 minutes. My claim to fame is  being in a commercial for a animal shelter when i was 3 years old - i smiled and pet the pups. cute, right?

6.  If I could have 3 wishes I would wish health, happiness & wisdom.

7.  My biggest pet peeve is  when people chew gum SO loud... and smack their gum around in their mouth like no one can hear. how can you even hear yourself?? i also hate when people fart and don't own it, when people have really horrible roots, or when people talk and never listen. whew.

memories.

my birthday is tomorrow, and every time around this year i always think about my past year, what i'm thankful for and how grateful i am for everything in my life. so i've decided to post my top FIVE favorite things that have happened since my last birthday.

1. the relationship i have with my boyfriend, bryce. we met at the pool 2 weeks before school started and instantly connected.

2. thankful that bryce saw a picture of pate that i texted her one random morning in october {my teacher had rescued her at just 4 weeks old!} and he told me he wanted her. so he adopted her then, and while she started out HIS dog... she is now both of ours :) i love her so much, and miss her little baby stage, but she's the best 7 month old puppy around!

3. being able to live with one of my best friends, tucci for a semester. she and i have a special kinship i have never had with any other friend. she understands me more than i understand me.

4. being able to live with one of my OTHER best friends, haley, for the whole year. she is such a wonderful support system, and once tucci left, we got a new roommate, chelsea and it has been fabulous!

5. getting an internship with FOX architects in washington d.c. for the summer. cannot wait because i love the office, i love their work, i love their designers and i LOVE that i will be in d.c. for the entire three months.

below are a few pictures of my year. xoxo. can't believe i'm going to be {23}.

repurpose YOUR home furniture.

i am a lover, follower and believer in all things recycled. while i am not the best recycler in my own home, i do try to repurpose and reuse my furniture til the bitter end. these pictures are fabulous ideas for your home, and how to add creativity, a touch of personality and interest, while repurposing some pieces you might have otherwise thrown out.

weekend fab find.

my weekend fab find is.... thirty one products. my big sister, katie baba, is a sales rep for this company called thirty one. they offer stylish purses, accessories & products that help organize the lives of busy women. they come in fun, funky BRIGHT colors and prints... so instantly i'm drawn to them.

my friends collins & aj threw a thirty-one party and katie showcased some of her products... i instantly fell in love and bought three items... and i didn't even spend that much money!
here are a few of the items i bought:
i got this in the blue print for a carry-all bag.... only $9 because i spent
enough money :)
this is a large bag that is very sturdy ... which i feel is PERFECT for traveling
when you just want to throw a bunch of clothes into a bag and go.
i got this in the blue paisley as well!

purchased in the garden lattice {the green} and engraved in a
turquoise spelling out "pate" for my sweet little puppy to store
all her toys. only $28.

haley got me this! i'm excited to store all of my pens/pencils in it..
for only $18 after monogramming.. how can you go wrong?
i purchased it in the blue paisley :)

if you want to check out this site... please go to my inspirational reading and click on "life experiences" which is katie baba's blog ~ then look at her "thirty one" tab and shop away!
