lights. who really thinks about them as a statement piece? i do. anytime i walk into a space, i look at the light fixtures. if they are just recessed cans, i study the baffle, the trim piece, the reflectors, wonder what type of lamp is in there - is it an MR16, a PAR30? why does my mind work like this? it's all thanks to melanie duffy, my instructor of cahs 3100: lighting design.
i have learned more this semester than i have in any other class. light is more than just illuminance - it affects your health.
