i have found my new addiction. blurb.com it is a wonderful website dedicated towards making your own projects. what a wonderful wedding gift, valentines present or christmas surprise! 
when i saw this site i instantly thought of one of my best friends, tucci. she LOVES to cook (follow her blog here) and literally has a million recipes between herself, her mom and the food network. she could use blurb to make herself a professionally designed cook book! i have a few projects up my sleeve that i am going to start.... a few involve my dear friends, and another involves making a portfolio of all my work thus far. ideas ideas!!
here's what you do:
1. go to www.blurb.com
2. choose which option you would like (whether you want just a photobook, a book with text, or if you are making a portfolio, use the program that collaborates with indesign.
3. choose which size BOOK you want to use: small book starts at $12.95!
5. begin uploading and in a few days, voila! you'll have your custom & professionally made book :)
