i've got the travel bug...

i have the travel bug - bad. i've traveled a lot for only being 22, and have had great fortune to have parents that love to travel. growing up, i didn't appreciate the vacations we took as much as i do now, because my family didn't just go to the beach. we went camping, took kayaking trips, hiking trips where we stayed overnight in lodges, hiked the grand canyon, went to costa rica and zip-lined through the rain forest, and rented a houseboat in utah, to mention a few vacations. now i want to do fun vacations like that again. 


i told bryce the other night that i wanted to go somewhere like romania, and work in an orphanage for a month, or join the peace corp. i think he thinks i'm nuts, because he mentioned something a little more tame, like a week-long mission trip. i like that idea, so it got me thinking - where do i want to go?!

just look at the pictures below. they look beautiful. i love the intense architecture and history found within these temples, and all the structures. ancient guatemala looks magical, and i hear the people are fantastic. so now i need money, time and someone to travel with and i am set to go!
